The Donkey Burro forklift is your lightweight, American-made alternative to all-terrain pallet jacks—available nationwide from Earthborne Trucks and Equipment. Weighing just 1,800 lbs, the Burro easily lifts up to 3,000 lbs to a height of 65 inches and fits on a one-ton chassis. Designed for smaller jobs, it features extended reach forks, a hydraulically driven rear wheel, and a 51" load spacing to handle standard pallets with ease. As the only motorized walk-behind forklift made in the USA, the Donkey Burro delivers strength, simplicity, and lower ownership costs, while sharing the same mounting kits as all Donkey forklifts.

Donkey Burro Operational Video

The Donkey Burro forklift is a compact, walk-behind unit designed for efficient material handling on paved or graded surfaces—available nationwide. With a 3,000 lb capacity at a 24″ load center and 65″ lift height, it handles standard pallets with 51″ load spacing and 24″ reach forks. A Kohler engine powers its hydraulically driven rear wheel, and a built-in brake adds safety. Standard features include 18″ turf tires, strobe, and work lights. The Burro shares mounting kits with the full Donkey lineup, making it a flexible addition to any fleet.
